Lizada St. in downtown Davao, near NCCC Uyanguren, is one of the havens for ukay-ukay (used imported clothes) junkie like me. The other day I had the chance to search again for some good buys. Here they are:

One of the things that I enjoy doing is scouring through the piles of ukay-ukay in search of the unique finds or dirt cheap designer clothes. To those who never mind the dust from these imported used clothes, just like me, there is joy in finding affordable designer clothes albeit it has been used already.

Wearing My Cheap Finds

Those who have read my other more active blog know that I went to Manila and Palawan weeks ago. Those were the times I was able to wear the cheap clothes I bought at the Gaisano Mall of Davao. As much as I had a great time on my vacation especially in El Nido, I also had a great time wearing these cheap clothes.

Another cheap finds from Gaisano Mall of Davao or G-Mall for short. Ok I think I should apply for work there to satisfy my cravings for their nice affordable clothes.

It can be worn with a black tights and heels for a glam evening look. Or pair it with a cardigan and low-heeled  shoes for a casual sexy look.

Gaisano Mall of Davao is my haven for cheap clothes. There are gazillions of unique t-shirts, dresses, pants and many more. All you have to do is to patiently dig up those bundles of items to search for your item of choice. Yesterday I went there to find some unique tops for our incoming vacation and as usual I did find one. Here it is.

Cheap Bath Salt : A Bonne Spa Milk Salt

After having psoriasis few months ago, the affected area now has dead skin cells awaiting to totally dry out and disappear. These dead skin cells will eventually disappear on it's own but I want to speed up the process thus I decided to buy a gentle exfoliating scrub. I found A Bonne Spa Milk Salt and bought it right away.

I actually have used it some few years ago and I like it. It is cheap and it works pretty well. But I stopped using it because I was lazy enough to scrub it all over my body. But now that I have some ugly psoriasis rashes around my navel, back and upper part of my leg, I HAVE to scrub or I'll continue to look like a dalmatian (ok not really but close).

I found out later that it is cheaper to buy it in Victoria Plaza, Davao. The price there is 44.75 Php only. 

What I like about this product aside from it's price is it's smell. My skin smells like milk (so yummy) after bath. I hope to continue to use this product even after my rashes disappear.

Cheap Scented Candle

If you are like me who like scented candle, then read on coz I found this cheap scented candle while buying some groceries. What a pleasant surprise. I find most of the candles too expensive. I will never pay 300 Php just for a candle. But with this one, I bought two.

This is a perfect beachwear as a swimsuit cover-up or simply as a dress while strolling around the beach. The color (aside from white) is vibrant  red-orange or tangerine tango which is the color of the year according to Pantone Color Institute.

The fabric although it was written to be 100% cotton, I think it has also spandex or anything nonetheless I find it comfortable enough. I can even use this as pambahay or even pantulog. It looks too form fitting to the body but actually it's not. In fact it's very stretchable when I tried it on.   

It is made in Thailand. The company also makes other beachwear apparels and accessories.
